Admission Procedure
Ontario High School Students
Students who are enrolled in grade 12 courses receive the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) form from their school guidance offices in the fall. Depending on your background or on the program(s) you have applied to, you may be asked to provide proof of English facility, academic records and/or to complete a supplementary form.
Your school will send your marks to OUAC in early March. If you have completed or are taking courses at more than one school, you must make sure your current school has all of your results.
For more information about the application process, please contact your high school guidance office.
All Other Applicants
To obtain full information about applying, please visit the OUAC web site at www.ouac.on.ca or contact the Engineering Undergraduate Admissions Office at 416-978-0120.
For students enrolled in secondary school programs outside Ontario, we base decisions on midterm or interim marks. Decisions are normally sent at the end of April.
Students applying to transfer from other universities may receive an early conditional decision if they are currently in at least second year. We will wait for final grades for those currently in their first year of university studies.
International Applicants
The University of Toronto does not interact with agencies in order to recruit students. Those interested in applying should contact our office directly or write to the Ontario Universities' Application Centre, 170 Research Lane, Guelph, ON, Canada N1G 5E2.
